The 2003 Season is a big one for the Beltway Fantasy Football League!

There are some new Toilet Bowl pictures and a Powerpoint presentation created by last year's loser available for download. I will warn you the Powerpoint is a 4M file so it might take a while to download, but it is really worth it.

This season the Beltway Fantasy Football League will not be hosted at Minorfalcon.com. We will be moving to only our 2nd web site in League's history. This season we are going to let some pros handle the stats while we sit back, watch and go at each other every week. MyFantasyLeague is going to host our league in a 1 year trial, which I am sure while probably last longer than that. We are still going to keep the stats on minorfalcon.com that date back to the 1997 season. (Bret Favre was the #1 player with 232 Fan pts).

We will say good bye to the old faitful Minorfalcon.com as our league commish software, but Greg won't have to load the stats and make sure that the scores turn out right.
Here are some new features and changes taking place this season.

• We will have Live scoring during the games and won't have to try to keep track ourselves.
• We are adding 2 new teams to jump to a 10 team format.
• We will have a more flexable drafting and free agent pick ups. We will no longer have to have exactly 4 rb, 4wr, etc this season as long as we have 17 players and at least 1 starter at each postion. This means that we can drop a QB and pick up a RB if we like, last season this was not possible without dropping 2 players.
• We have a league message board.
• Some of us finally have team logo's but we are still waiting for the Flying Beavers to show up.??
• We now will select Free Agent Players by blind-bidding. Each team will get $100 in funny-money to bid on free agents each week. After the bids are selected, we will go back to first come first served for the free agents the rest of the week.
• We will have the same player scoring rules as last season, no new scoring changes.
• We will have a 3 week playoff starting in week 15 and ending week 17. The top 6 teams will make the playoffs, with teams #1 and #2 having a bye.
