Super Bowl Week:The Kings of Nothing took home their 3rd Super Bowl Trophy, with a 51-41 victory over the Spoilers. The Kings were led by Chad Pennington with 15 pts and Duece McAllister's 8 pts. In a low scoring game where the both teams scored 92 pts and the Spoilers had scored 94 the previous week. The Spoilers were for the second time the bride's maid finishing the season in second place. Lombardi-Mania become the 2002 losers of the Toilet Bowl game getting spanked 82-67 by the Seminole Nation. The Nation comes within 1 loss of becoming the first two time LOSER of the BFFL Toilet Bowl. Instead it is Lombardi that take home that distinction.

The first EVER tie in the playoffs, is the highlight of week one of the BFFL playoffs, the Kings of Nothing and the Flying Beavers tie 34-34. The first playoff tie breaker is non-starter points and the Kings of Nothing win 49-20 on the tie breaker and advance to their third straight Super Bowl.

In what might have been the "real" Super Bowl, the Spoilers win in a shootout 94-81 over the first place WhoseYourDaddies. The Spoilers playing without the #1 player in the league, injured Priest Holmes, had to rely on the NY Football Giants' Tiki Barber and Amani Toomer to pull them through. Toomer was the high scorer in the league with 33 pts, 10 catches, 204 yds 3 TD's including an 82 yard TD pass on a flee-flicker in the third quarter. Barber accounted for 15 pts and Peyton Manning 21 pts all in the same game as the Giants win 44-27 over the Colts in Indianapolis.

Amani Toomer gives Jeremy Shockey a high five after the 82 yard flee-flicker that killed the WhoseYourDaddies chances of going to the Super Bowl. The 44-27 win by the Giants accounted for 3 of the top 4 scorers in the BFFL this week. In the Toilet Bowl Bracket, the 8th seed Spoilers upset the 5th ranked Seminole Nation 74-51 and the Raiders avoid the Toilet Bowl 46-45 by defeating Lombardi-Mania in the last 1:15 of the Monday night game. The Monday night game was won by the Pittsburg Steelers 17-7 over the Tampa Bay Bucs and it decided 2 of the 4 BFFL playoff games. A few kneel downs by Pittsburg and BOTH Fantasy Games go to the Tie Breakers. The First tie breaker is non-starter Fan pts. Kings of Nothing wins 49-20, and Lombardi Mania wins 63-32. But WAIT, Tampa Bay still has 3 timeouts left and they are going to use them. This will force Pittsburg to do something OTHER than kneel down, or they will have to punt the ball back to Tampa. I can't imagine what they will do, I know hand the ball to JEROME BETTIS!

Jerome Bettis will live forever in the minds of the BFFL'ers as he is once again the deciding factor in a BFFL Playoff game. Who could ever forget the 1998 Super Bowl where his rushing yards were at first reported as 150 only to be changed to 139, thus the WhoseYourDaddies won the Championship over the BBBQ(now the Flying Beavers) 48-47.	The Mania wish that Jerome Landed on his head and was knocked out of the game. Then maybe they would not be on their way to the Toilet Bowl for the second year in a row!

Pre-playoff stuff

The first round of the playoffs feature a grudge match between the last 2 years Super Bowl participants, The Flying Beavers, the 2001 winers and the Kings of Nothing, the 2000 Winers. Only 1 of these teams will make the Super Bowl this year, and they will be the seacon in League History to appear in 3 consecutive Super Bowls. The only team in BFFL history to appear in the Superbowl 3 times in a row is the #1 ranked WhoseYourDaddies, who accomplished this feat in 1997 - 1999, wining 2 of their 3 appearances. The WhoseYourDaddies are 2-1 favorites to win it all again this year.

The WhoseYourDaddies have caught a break in the playoff schedule as the surging Spoilers suffered the staggering loss of the #1 BFFL Fantasy Player so far this year, Priest Holmes. Holmes was hurt in week 15 when he was caught and tackled from behind near the goal line. Holmes has "strained" his hip and it is unclear if he will return for week 17 of the season. The Spoilers finished 4th with an 8-6-1 record, but were only outscored by the WhoseYourDaddies 1047 - 1024 for the season. The Spoilers are the only team with a chance to win the Super Bowl for the first time, with all of the other 3 teams each wining it twice. The Spoilers will have to rely on backup Tiki Barber to pick up Holmes' scoring slack.
