The 2000 Draft was held on Thursday Aug 24, 2000 and as usual is was great. Here are the results:

This year was probably the fastest draft every. Every one showed up on time, and we started at 7:20 PM, and finished before 9:00 PM.
Dale had a couple of suprises for us. The first one was the completion of the BFFL Championship Trophy which was presented to Greg, our 2-time Defending Champion.

The only other players still in the league who have tasted victory , were given a moment with the new trophy.

The other suprise was the extreme B.O. that Dale brought to the table, in an attempt to throw us off our game. After opening the conference room door and finding a fan, this had no effect on all the participants.
In the 10th Round Julian attempted to pick Tim Brown, already selected by Greg in the 8th round. In the 15th round, yours truly, Steve had the idea to select Bret Conway, already selected in the 10th round. I got up, sat back down, thought about it and got up to select Bret Conway, sat back down and then selected Matt Stover instead.

The emails have already started flying with a new owner, Frank already ready to make trades and another owner, Julian predicting a wipe out of the Kings of Nothing. "I hope I play you my first game. Snoozers 103 Steve's Fart's -21".
