All were excited about the possiblilty of collecting some of the over $400 in prize money to be distributed umong the tom 4 teams. The GM of the Marauders, Dale was grasping at rule changes to help his WR rich team, "I guess it's too late to propose rule changes for the playoffs.....
Rule change: Instead of 2 RB's and 2 WR's, you can play any combination of those positions at the time. That way, I can play Muhammad, Jeffers, and Robinson all at the same time........ just another headache in the life of a GM.

The Kings of Nothing were worried about their matchup with the Spoilers, Steve was quoted as saying, "Who can I pay to break both of Steve Beurlein's legs?? Who does Carolina play next week??" He soon changed to attacking the Spoilers, "Get on your knees and beg for mercy you scum sucking pig!!The Spoilers string of good luck has just ended."

The cocky Spoilers GM, Bill was interviewed later and said, "Hell, I'll bench everyone except Beuerlein and still beat you! Your team is nothing but a bunch of (whimps). I could beat them fielding an all girl team."

Al_falcon Reporter, "What are you chances in the playoffs?"
Bill, "Pretty damn good. The Queens of Nothing have been rather limp of late. They should be easy. After that, well....."
Al_falcon Reporter, "Who will be your go-to guy in the playoffs and why?"
Bill, "Beuerlein!!! The Panthers play against two loser teams, so he should rack up some good points. "
Al_falcon Reporter, "Briefly, how would you sum up the season for your team?"
Bill,I got off to a 1-4 start, so I thought this season would suck. But I picked up Beuerlein and Marshall Faulk kicked into high gear. I'd have to say that it's been pretty good. Expansion teams rule!"

We were able to catch up with the hard to reach GM of the Raiders, who appeared stong at times this season, only to fall to 6th place by the end of the season.
